KCS operates over a wide geographical area in Western Europe and of course the Asia Pacific region. Assignments in Europe have included the pursuit and identification of 'organised groups' involved in the production of counterfeit pharmaceuticals, the theft of clients proprietary data and the operation of 'front organisations' to root out and identify white -collar fraud.

The significant increase in industrial espionage, extortion and protection rackets within the Russian Federation has resulted in a greater number of assignments across the whole of the region. Fraud, corruption and bribery are commonplace, necessitating a strong network, experienced assets and a strong nerve. In Saudi Arabia and throughout the Middle East, we are seeing Arab countries exercising their financial muscle and in many cases employing unfair market practices and abusing local regulations in favour of local business to the detriment of the overseas investment. Due diligence of principals and businesses need to be of a special type to ensure positive and transparent results before any investment or operation can move forward.

The Middle East and Africa, with the strong Islamic way of life, are markets fraught with pitfalls and obstacles for the unwary. Many western companies that straddle the world with household name brands have floundered on the rocks of commerce within these regions. Tribal and social dynamics do not make for transparent markets. Many of them are corrupt and bureaucratic. As a consequence, KCS has been involved in assisting organisations, extraditing themselves from corrupt ministers, greedy, politicians - many of whom with organised crime links - have resorted to extortion and threats to the detriment of western firms.
